Yeovil Area KWIK Cricket Tournament is Great Success at North Perrott

The Yeovil Primary Schools held its Area Tournaments for Year 6, Year 5 and Girls over 2 days, with a school to club link at North Perrott Cricket Ground. |
Somerset Schools Futsal Festivals

On Tuesday 20th April and Thursday 22nd April the Somerset Schools Futsal Festivals were hosted at Buckler’s Mead School, Yeovil. Co-ordinated by Somerset FA and supported by the South East Somerset Schools Sport Partnership the event saw schools from all over the south of the County compete at U10s, U12s, U14s and U16s. It was a brilliant two days of competitive Futsal as the winners of the 3 older age groups will now go on to represent Somerset at the Regional FA Youth Futsal Qualifier next month. |
Year 8 & 10 Partnership Rugby Finals

Delayed due to the weather, the South East Somerset School Sport Partnership Under 13s Boys final between Ansford and Westfield Schools took place at Castle Cary RFC.
Under the watchful eye of their rugby-playing Head of PE, Paul Hoggett, Ansford fielded a confident side, with several of the team members actually playing for Castle Cary RFC. With good support from parents they warmed up with intent, looking to impress the opposition from Westfield from the Yeovil area. |
Hoop Ball Tournament at Buckler’s Mead School

Key Stage 1 pupils from Huish, Milford Infants, Pen Mill Infants, Birchfield, Norton sub Hamdon, Chilthorne Domer, St Gilda’s and Ash all enjoyed the annual Hoop Ball competition at Buckler’s Mead on Thursday 25th March. This year, due to the poor weather, the tournament took place inside the sports hall which led to a very noisy affair. |
