10 primary schools entered the Quad Kids event with over 90 Key Stage 1 boys and girls. This event encourages pupils to participate in 4 athletic events:- 50m sprint, vortex howler throws, standing long jump and 300m run plus a relay. |

The Yeovil Primary Schools held its Area Tournaments for Year 6, Year 5 and Girls over 2 days, with a school to club link at North Perrott Cricket Ground. |

Key Stage 1 pupils from Huish, Milford Infants, Pen Mill Infants, Birchfield, Norton sub Hamdon, Chilthorne Domer, St Gilda’s and Ash all enjoyed the annual Hoop Ball competition at Buckler’s Mead on Thursday 25th March. This year, due to the poor weather, the tournament took place inside the sports hall which led to a very noisy affair. |

Once again set in the heart of the East Somerset countryside, King’s School in Bruton hosted the School Sports Partnership Year 9 Final between Frome and Preston. The Partnership is the largest in the country, which creates a number of challenges, so the presence of Frome College in a rugby final demonstrates that much good work is paying off |
