On 1st March, 5 local primary schools fielded a team in the new High 5’s Netball Tournament held at Holyrood School, with over 35 pupils participating. Congratulations go to Combe and Neroche primaries, who will be representing our cluster with teams in the South Somerset Partnerships finals. The games were umpired by Primary staff, putting their recent High 5’s training into practice. |
Competition, such as this, helps schools to fulfill the National PE Strategy: by giving children access to another hour of sport in the week; in competing against other schools and acts as a forum to spot gifted and talented pupils, apart from the pupils really enjoying themselves !
