Holyrood Community School played host to the Primary Schools ‘Fun Run’ on 10th March. A total of 76 (33 girls and 43 boys) young athletes, from 6 primary schools (Ashill, Buckland, Chard, Manor Court, Tatworth and Winsham), participated in a cross country run around the school fields, they were led around by Holyrood students. |
| The U9’s competed over 900m and the team winners were Buckland (girls) and Chard (boys). The U11’s competed over 1400m and the team winners were Tatworth (girls) and Buckland (boys). |

School sports co-ordinator, Jason Hedaux, would like to thank participating schools for attending. Events, like these, help schools to contribute to national targets in school-sport, such as working towards the 3 hour offer and inter school competition.
